2020 Report to the Community

To say that 2020 was a difficult year would be stating the obvious. At a time when need was higher than any time since we started our outreach in 2014, we were forced to cut back on some of our services, specifically our soup kitchen and clothing closets. Fortunately, All Saints Episcopal Church and Rise in Love were able to continue and expand our pantries. When it became necessary for us to convert to a drive-through distribution model, our friends at Parma Heights Baptist Church invited us to move to their larger campus. We are proud to have them as partners in our mission to "serve people afflicted by food insecurity and poverty". The year was a blur. Although we tried to keep track of our service levels, we probably miscounted people and houses served, particularly during the couple of months when we suspended registration.
