Center for Community Solutions Report: Poverty Levels in Cuyahoga County

It helps us to understand the challenges we face in Cuyahoga County. Today we will look at figures related to the poverty level, deep-poverty, and near-poverty. We will explore correlations between poverty and other factors, such as employment and education level, in upcoming articles. Note: While this type of analysis generally focuses on rates (percentages of population) in poverty, we prefer to look at head count. We feel that a clearer picture is painted when we say that 220,000 people in Cuyahoga County live in poverty versus saying that 18% live in poverty.
